The overarching beauty of the hotel is its emboldened character of its former self and the delicate balance and tension between the sleek integrated updates. The meticulously orchestrated restoration of the building (a former sugar refinery) was transformed into a boutique 82-room hotel and bar, was crafted with New Orleans’s industrious spirit in mind, and enabled us to showcase the beauty of the raw and undefined, while giving a home to a ‘new’ New Orleans.
The hotel showcases the past while bringing an elevated vibe and contemporary experience to its guests that is at once a stone’s throw from Bourbon Street, yet with a distinctly sophisticated voice all its own.
